VIK was created in Millahue in the Cachapoal Valley. This is a vineyard that embodies the perfect fusion between humans, experience, land, climate and high technology.
In 2004 Alex and Carrie VIK set out with the audacious goal of making one of the world’s best wines.
After a 2-year scientific search we found the best terroir in South America in Millahue (Cachapoal Valley) of Chile, a beautiful country dedicated to producing world-class wines.
VIK’s terroir offers a majestic and natural landscape composed of 12 valleys, each one with its own micro-climate, distinct exposures, all within a wind-tunnel cooled by Pacific coastal breezes and winds from high up in the Andes mountains that provide VIK with enormous complexity and exceptional variety.
Wines are aged in a combination of new and used French oak barrels.
Additionally, VIK Chile has garnered international admiration since its inauguration, attracting travelers from all over the world to enjoy this innovative travel experience, unlike any other in the world. And this has brought its greatest achievement: VIK Chile was the overall winner of the prestigious World Travel Awards 2022 in the category of “World’s Leading Wine Region Hotel” for the first time in its history. The first tour we have developed is combing VIK with the prestigious Montes wineries. On this trip you’ll depart at 07:30 hrs from your Hotel in Santiago so you can be at 10:00 hrs sharp at VIK for enjoying their super VIK Experience.
Once you end the tour and wine tasting, you’ll depart to Montes winery for lunch, another outstanding winery.
Includes a glass of Milla Cala, a glass of La Piu Belle red, a glass of our iconic wine, VIK, and 2 varieties from the barrel (Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere).

Our second experience consist in adding a lunch pairing at VIK winery and end with the VIK experience tour and wine tasting. For this trip we have add Maturana wines for a morning tour and wine tasting, a superb experience. It is one of the most awarded boutique wineries in Chile in recent times, receiving awards such as “Best Wine Project of the Year and the Most Innovative Vineyard of the Year 2017,” an award given by the circle of gastronomic chroniclers and wine journalists in Chile.
The tour includes: Tour of the winery + tasting of 5 wines (1 icon, 5 premium) + gourmet cheese boar
Afterwards, you’ll be able to enjoy a Lunch pairing at Pavillion restaurant of VIK winery. The 5 courses are with dessert included and with a pairing of La Piu Belle Rosé, VIK A y Milla Cala. At VIK, gastronomy is based on using fresh, local, seasonal and agroecological products in preparations.
