We’ll be able to interact with local people by buying local products that afterwards we’ll taste by a lovely setting at our picnic spot.
Then we’ll head into the mountain range until the detour that will lead us to Embalse Del Yeso. This ride goes by waterfalls, canyons, lava formations, a hanging glacier and old constructions made by the workers who built this largest artificial water reservoir. The reservoir is at 2500 meters above sea level, about 8 square kilometers and it opened in 1964. It is an artificial lake that offers turquoise colors and beautiful mountain scenery. As well, it’s a place for birds that nest on this high altitude Lagoon.
