We have developed this Bolivia Uyuni Tour 4 days so while staying in San Pedro de Atacama you can have the possibility of visiting Bolivia and the magnificent Uyuni Salt Flat on a 4 day tour and being able to end on Uyuni to take bus to La Paz or come back to San Pedro de Atacama.
This trip is done on private services, with English speaking guide and lodging at comfortable hotels with private room and bathroom. Ask us for a private departure 3 days / 2 nights, ending at Uyuni or you can start at Uyuni and end in San Pedro de Atacama.
The Salar de Uyuni is one of the most spectacular adventure-travel destinations on Earth. Think 10 billion tons of salt sprawling across an endless desert. The Salar de Uyuni is a 10,582 square kilometer expanse of cracked white salt, left behind when an ancient salt lake named Coipasa dried up thousands of years ago.
It is the world’s largest salt flat and is located at a high altitude of 3,656 meters (10,000 feet) above sea level.

Itinerary
SAN PEDRO ATACAMA – LAGUNA VERDE, BLANCA AND COLORADA
The tour departs from San Pedro de Atacama where you’ll have breakfast at your hotel and depart to Bolivia at 07,30 hrs. We’ll start with a transfer from San Pedro to border at Hito Cajon Chile – Bolivia. After customs we’ll enter National Park Eduardo Abaroa, crossing it until reaching Laguna Verde, admiring the spectacular emerald colors of it water due to it high content of minerals and Laguna Blanca, surprisingly white. They are located at the foot of Licancabur Volcano on 5865 masl. Afterward we’ll continue visiting the volcanic rocks of the Desert of Dali and their formations, followed by the thermal waters of Chalviry Lagoon, where you’ll be able to swim on thermal waters that rise up to 38 degrees and enjoy a delicious picnic lunch admitting the Chalviry Salt Flat. Then, we’ll head to Colorada Lagoon, 4300m above sea level where you’ll be able to see diverse Flamingos and birds, continuing to the Siloli Desert, where we’ll check the Arbol de Piedra, a rock from volcanic origin and shaped as a tree. We’ll lodge at comfortable Hotel Tayka del Desierto, with private bathroom and enjoy dinner.

We’ll depart at 08.00 am to visit the Galaxies of Zepita, continuing to the white desert of Uyuni, visiting the Incahuasi Island where we’ll walk and see its amazing formation of stalactites and giant cactus as part of vegetation, plus enjoy a snack admiting the impressive Tunapa Volcano and its reflection on the Salt Flat.
